The image "Vincent van Veb" is interpretation of a famous smoker-portrait by the dutch painter Vincent van Gogh. It was painted by Michael Kogel in middle of september 1998 in Leipzig with wax-crayons on cardboard and is furnished with a dried hemp leaf.
In the foreground sits a man and looks at the observer. A man with a fur cap on his head drew a puff from his pipe. His head is wrapped by a shawl too. The coat he worn is closed with a large knob on the collar
The whole picture is painted in green-tones, even the background composed of contrast between a bright and a dark green
